Name: Ada Maria Witczyk
Ada was born in Poland. She is currently in her fourth year of a BMus(Hons) undergraduate degree studying violin at the Royal College of Music in London.
Ada made her solo orchestral debut at the age of 11 with Odeon Orchestra. In the following years she has performed in various concert venues such as Buckingham Palace, Royal Festival Hall, Barbican, National Portrait Gallery, Palazzo Pallavicini Rospigliosi, Gothenburg Concert Hall, Poznan Philharmonic Hall, Feliks Nowowiejski Music Salon-Museum, National Museum in Poznan, Jan Dekert Lubusz Museum, Gorzow Wielkopolski Philharmonic Hall, Zielona Gora Philharmonic Hall and Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall. Moreover, she completed several violin courses in Poland, France, Sweden, England, Germany and The Czech Republic.
She has won several prizes and awards in national and international violin competitions including first prize in Baroque Competition in Gorzow Wielkopolski and second prize in Cross-border Competition in Zagan among the others. Recently Ada was rewarded by Henry Wood Trust and Grabowski Foundation.
